The Interactive P2 media center, whilst improving vastly over the P1, is a triumph of contemporary styling. You won't believe what this little wonder is capable of. As a professional media center for your home, the P2 packs in the best bits of a high-end PC, and media center alike.
Where shall we begin? You get exceptional Blu-ray and DVD playback out of the box. The P2 also features a dual digital TV tuner that allows recording two TV shows simultaneously. The speed of the media center comes from the latest generation of tripple core processors and high speed memory. To top it off, we upped the storage capacity to 1TB- to a maximum of 5TB. And yes, the P2 holds its own uniqueness because it runs both Windows and Linux operating systems.
The latest generation of AMD's Phenom triple core processors offer astounding performance for the right price. Having 3 cores means that your media encoding takes 3 times as less time compared to traditional single-core processing. At 2.8GHz, the processor is also the fastest in its class.
Powered by Radeon HD 4350 graphics, connect up to 2 1080p HD displays to your media center simultaneously with full HDCP support. Your displays need not be the same, or even support HD format. Analog devices, such as VGA-only projectors, could also be hooked up with relative ease. Maximum resolution per display is 2560 x 1600 pixels.
The included dual tuners offer true digital recording of up to 2 TV shows at the same time. You can also connect your set-top box to the P2 for recording subscription programming. With your favorite shows now on your media center, you can take up role of a professional video editor, without the hassle. The video editting software is bundled in your package.
Your media center supports playback of not only Blu-ray, but also HD-DVD, and DVD movies. The included optical drive can also be used to burn DVD disks. If you wish to burn Blu-ray disks, please upgrade accordingly.
